A record 419 Knox County Teachers came early to get FREE classroom materials

A record 419 Knox County teachers came early Saturday morning, August 5, for the first of four open dates for the Teacher Supply Depot. Lines wrapped around the block in anticipation of the opening.

CartfullFood City bagKnox County Teachers have received over $1,000,000 in free materials through the Teacher Supply Depot.  There are three more dates this year: November 11th, January 20th, and March 31st.

Teachers arrived early to get in line for the 8:00 opening. The Depot remained open until 2 p.m. Early shopping was allowed in the gymnasium (see below).

Businesses and individuals are encouraged to donate items that can be used by teachers in the classroom. For a detailed listof items please the Teacher Supply Depot site.
