2008 School Coupon Book Campaign dates: September 18 - October 3

The dates for the 2008 School Coupons Book campaign are September 18 - October 3. The campaign will be the 20th year of the highly successful fund raiser.

 

School Coupons celebrate another successful campaign.

The Knox County Schools School Coupons Book campaign celebrated another successful year at a celebration luncheon at the Sarah Simpson Professional Development and Technology Center November 15. This year's campaign raised over $1.5 million which goes directly to the individual schools to support instruction. (Full Report)

Need a Coupon Book? Books are available at several area businesses

Although the 2007 School Coupons Book campaign officially ended October 5, books are available at these businesses.

 

School Coupon Books provide funds to meet needs identified by parents, teachers

CoversParents, teachers, students and concerned community members recently completed the 19th school coupon book campaign for Knox County Schools.

The program was established in 1989 as a way to provide discretionary funds for schools to use to meet needs identified by parents and teachers. Since its inception the school coupon program has been widely embraced by middle and elementary schools and the funds generated have become a primary resource for improving technology and playgrounds in schools across the county. Parent and community support have made the Knox County School Coupon Book program the most successful program of its kind in the nation. (Read more)

 

Pepsi Sponsors School Coupons School Coupons Book campaign major sponsor

The School Coupons Book campaign had a new face as a major sponsor for the 2007-08 campaign.

The Pepsi Bottling Group became the presenting sponsor for the School Coupons Book Campaign. Books are available while supplies last at several area businesses.

 

 

SunTrust Bonus for 2007 School Coupons Book Campaign

SunTrust offers annual challengeSchool Coupons Book campaign corporate sponsor SunTrust gives a bonus to each school that sells more books than the school sold the previous year. For each additional book over the previous year, SunTrust contributes $1.00 to the school. Powell Middle School received a bonus of $1,615 in the 2007 campaign. (More)
