Another Record Year: Knox
County Schools 2005 School Coupons Book celebration Friday,
November 18, marked another record year in sales. The year's
total was 172,722 books for a grand total of $1,502,681.40.
Brianna Wilcox Barnett was one of the top sellers at A. L.
Lotts Elementary School, but was more inquisitive about what
you could see through the clear plastic awards than she was
about all the adult speeches and recognitions.

Top sellers for 2005 were eligible to win prizes donated by
businesses and the community. Among the prizes: autographed
guitar from Rascal Flatts, signed basketball from UT Coach
Bruce Pearl, Lady Vols Coach Pat Summit; football from Phil
Fulmer.
