KCS to Conduct New Teacher Orientation

Knox County Schools will conduct a new teacher orientation session on August 6 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Central High School.

The school system will welcome over 250 new teachers to its ranks for the coming school year. This session is designed to help familiarize these teachers with the system organization, policies and procedures. The session will begin with a “get acquainted” period and will also include remarks from Knox County School Superintendent Dr. Charles Lindsey.

Media interested in attending the session are encouraged to focus on early activities for best access and visual opportunities.
