School Board Schedules Called Meeting and Work Session


The Knox County Board Of Education will conduct a called meeting and a work session beginning at 4:00 p.me. July 16, in the
boardroom on the first floor of the Andrew Johnson Building located at 912 South Gay Street

3. Approve recommended term bid for playground equipment vendors (information

approve reuse or demolition of the facility

6. Approve a contract with CMS Viron Corporation (dba CMS Viron Energy Services) as recommended by the Energy Management Committee for the provision of energy audit services (information provided July 8, 2002) RECOMMENDED

7. Approval to acquire approximately 27 plus or minus acres with temporary right of way or 38.9 acres of land owned by Edith Reagan by eminent domain (information enclosed) RECOMMENDED

8. Discussion and possible action regarding the subdivision of the Powell High School property

9. Approval to acquire approximately 5 plus or minus acres at 9321 Westland Drive owned by Thomas H. Gheen by eminent domain

10. Approve a contract to purchase 3.15 acres of land at 4313 Emory Road owned by Bernice S. Hensley in the amount of $539,350.00 including closing costs, ect. (information enclosed) RECOMMENDED
