How do I check my student's assignments, and daily grades on the Parent Portal?

The Parent Portal provides the parent with an ongoing record of class assignments and attendance in real-time during the day. The student will be reported 'present' or 'absent' or 'tardy' for each of the classroom periods as the attendance is posted by the teacher. Classes that have not begun will appear as not started, but will be updates as the day progresses. Grades for assignments include points earned, points possible, and average for the assignment.

When you click on Schedule:

  • Click on Assignment to view
    • Assignments
    • Points earned
    • Points possible
    • Average for the class period
  • Click on Present to view a history of attendance for the class period.
  • Click on Teacher to open an e-mail to the teacher.

How do I review marking period grades?

Click on Grades

Marking period grades will be reported following the completion of each grading period. These grades will be reported on the report card. The grades will be available after the 1st nine weeks period for middle schools and after the 1st 4th week period for High Schools and on the marking period schedules thereafter. Please allow time for staff members to complete grading and posting following the end of each marking period.

What does daily attendance report?

The daily attendance reports the absences for the entire school year.

What does the 'Discipline' report tell me?

The Discipline report provides you with reports of any disciplinary actions taken with your student. The report will include the date of the incident, details of kind of incident and contacts regarding the incident.

Can I check high school credits on the Parent portal?

Yes. High school student transcripts include records of all credits and grades for students in 9-12. It is an excellent way to monitor your student's progress toward graduation.
