PROCEDURES FOR AUDIO VISUAL EQUIPMENT REPAIR

Each piece of A-V equipment in need of repair should be tagged with a yellow repair tag. 

• Fill the tag out completely
  • Include School Name
  • Explicit description of the problem.
• Additional repair tags may be requested from the Media Center A-V Department.

For school mail truck pickup place the equipment in the school mail pick up area.

• Someone in the school should make a record of each piece sent in for repair. 
• This records should include
  • the type of equipment
  • serial nuumber
  • date sent in
  • date returned

Note:  Do not wait until the end of the school year to send in equipment to be repaiired.  This needs to be sent in throughout the school year.

Lamps - these should be requested in writing by giving the school name and three letters (i.e. ENX, ELH).
