of Knox County Schools’ Schooled
for Success career
orientation program
for eighth graders.
Businesses and organizations
participating in
the career fair
help students become
acquainted with the
employment opportunities
in the area and learn
what it takes to
be successfully employed.
Middle school students
also have a chance
to meet representatives
of their area high
schools since they
will begin selecting
their career path
in high school.

KCS Career Day February 28,
2008 expanding to include high school students
as well middle students 
An expanded Career Day will give high school students
opportunities to meet representatives from area
businesses and colleges this year. Traditionally
geared to eighth graders, the career day is offering
a high school session from noon to 3:00 p.m. followed
by the middle schoolers from 4:00 - 7:30.
The Knox
County Schools Career Day will be February 28,
2008, at the Knoxville Expo Center.
Students get to talk with employers and to
examine career programs from more than 100 organizations.
