Nearly 300 eighth grade students
from across Knox County spent
May 25 and 26 in one of 45
businesses. At the conclusion
of the two-day internship,
participants had a few things
to say about their experiences.

“I am interested in the
occupations I saw because teaching
has always been my dream.”

For Success internship program, “because
it gives you a really good
experience in having a job.”

interesting. You learn a lot,
and you might be able to change
your decisions about work and

that good, but as I learned
more and more, it became one
of the best experiences for
