What do you want to be when you
grow up? Still haven’t
decided yet? Never fluster. The
Career Fair is there to help
you decide on the career that
suites you best!
This year’s Career Fair for
Knox County Middle School students
was Thursday, February 24 at
the Knoxville Convention Center.
I couldn’t believe my eyes
when I walked into the Career
Fair. There were so many exhibits
and careers to explore!
I thought
the Career Fair was going
to be boring, but boy was I wrong.
The people there made it
exciting. There were prizes,
candy, fun information, and vitalizing
things to look at. I liked it
because they didn’t push you to
go to their booths; you just
went as you pleased.
There were
many choices for boys and
girls. For example, for girls
they had the Tennessee School
of Beauty students there curling
and styling girls’ hair, and for boys
they had tools and construction
demonstrations. However, the
best part was just hanging out
with your friends. You were able
to pioneer exhibits while discussing
them or just talking with your
friends. So don’t take
the Career Fair for granted.
Just go ahead and check it out
next year. Who knows, a career
might be waiting out there for
you.
