School Counselors

Connecting School, Family, and Community

School counselors are a vital part of the total school program. The purpose of a counseling program in a school setting is to promote and enhance the learning process.

Above all, professional school counselors meet the state certification/licensure standards and abide by the laws of the state of Tennessee. They uphold ethical and professional standards and promote the development of the school counseling profession.

Counselors realize that each community is different and they work to meet the unique needs of each school and community.
