Goal 1:
The
student will develop the necessary skills
to think logically and critically.
Elementary, Middle, and High School Objectives:
1. The
student will distinguish between relevant
and irrelevant information, fact, and
fantasy.
2. The
student will develop skills in making
inferences and recognizing unstated assumptions.
3. The
student will recognize the purposes,
main ideas, biases, points of view, and
persuasive devices found in various sources.
4. The student
will develop problem?]solving
skills.
5. The
student will use cognitive strategies
of ordering, classifying, relating spatially
and perceptually, reasoning, deducting,
and thinking divergently to evaluate
facts.
6. The
student will use prior learning to gain
new insights.

student will recognize logical relationships

Goal 3: The
student will have the necessary speaking
skills to communicate information,
thoughts, ideas, and feelings effectively
in society.
