(865) 594-1748 ADULT EDUCATION Continuing Education ProgramsThere are many opportunities for adults to continue their education, including courses for personal development, advancement, and enrichment. Included are GED preparation and testing, Basic Skills classes, home economics classes, business and information technology training, and trades and industrial training in partnership with local businesses. Evening Trades ClassesThe Adult Evening Trades program provides training in electrical, welding, brick masonry, carpentry, air conditioning and refrigeration, sheet metal, and plumbing. By providing quality educational opportunities, the staff at Lincoln Park Technology and Trade Center empowers students to become productive citizens and skilled craftsmen motivated to build a strong future. CURRENT HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS High School Career and Technical Education CoursesHigh school students may choose a technical path or a university path or may combine both as they plan their high school education choices. Course selection and planning tools are available on our high schools page. Additoinal programs for current Knox County School studentsKnox County Schools continuing education offers three programs to help current students maintain their pace to graduate on time. These are eLearning, Night Alternative, and Recovery Credit. Students must meet the requirements of these areas in order to participate in the programs.
