(More Information)

Planning to retire? Start the paperwork early. . .

Any employee who is interested in retiring or resigning should contact the Employee Benefits Department 60-90 days before their last day of employment for an appointment where information and the paperwork to continue their benefits after retirement can be discussed. (Download 90-Day Retirement Notice form)

Please note we have been told by TCRS that it is currently taking 60-90 days to process health insurance applications to continue insurance after retirement.  It is very important that we have your paperwork 60-90 days prior to retirement so there are no problems with your health insurance when you retire.  We will send a letter and the paperwork that needs to be completed before your meeting so you can review it and obtain the appropriate signatures.  You may contact our office at 865-594-1686 to schedule an appointment.  Please note if you show up without an appointment a staff member may not be able to meet with you that day and you will be asked to schedule an appointment.
