Student Records

Each student has a permanent or cumulative record that is kept in the local school office and is passed on to the next grade level or school. This record includes attendance data, grades, health history, standardized test scores, and other pertinent information about the student. Such records contain vital and revealing information. They are confidential and cannot be reviewed by anyone other than the professional staff, parents, legal guardians, or adult students. This material cannot be released to anyone without a signed release by the parent, guardian, or adult student. Parents always have a right to review their child’s records.
