Child Find
Child Find/System-wide Screening is a systematic process
to identify students who are at-risk in the areas of hearing,
speech/language, social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development
from birth through age 21. Services to disabled students are delivered
in the student’s community-based school insofar as possible.
More restrictive placement must be justified and documented.
By law a child entering a special education program shall be
no less than three years of age.
